John Aloysius McEnery (1877-1914)

Dr William McEnery served as a medical practitioner in Sherborne for 40 years, living with his family at Semington House in The Avenue.  During the First World War, Dr McEnery served on the board of the Sherborne Urban Military Service tribunals.  With seven of his children serving their country, one of whom was killed in 1914, how did Dr McEnery feel about conscientious objectors?
