40 years ago Elmdene, for so long a waiting house for third formers, was transformed into Sherborne’s ninth all-age boarding house. It was therefore very appropriate that so many of the entry from the early years of Wallace House were present at a dinner held at Dirty Bones in Kensington in November. The event was enhanced by the presence of the founding housemaster, Jeremy Barker, who was delighted to renew so many old acquaintances. The evening was further improved by the attendance of the younger Wallace OS and the blend of year groups made for a great atmosphere. Wallace House dinners are definitely going to become a feature on future OS Calendars!
