100th anniversary of the consecration of Sherborne School’s war memorial

On 5th July 1922, Henry Whitehead Bishop of Madras consecrated the extension to the chapel at Sherborne School, designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield RA as a memorial to the 221 Old Shirburnians who fell in the First World War.
