We are delighted to announce the publication of Patrick Francis’s new history of Sherborne School, Old Yet Every Young.
In this comprehensive history of Sherborne School, the first to be written since the revised edition of A.B. Gourlay’s A History of Sherborne School was issued in 1971, Patrick brings the story of the School up-to-date, charting its history from 1550 to the 21st century.
Following the success of his first book, Vivat Shirburnia. Sherborne School and the Great War, 1914-1918, Patrick has again collaborated with photographer and full-time biology master David Ridgway, who was shortlisted this year in the portraiture open competition of the Sony World Photography Awards. David’s evocative photographs of the School and its former pupils fill the pages of this handsome book which anyone with a connection to Sherborne will be proud to own.
