This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport, or Children’s Transport, the name given to the rescue movement which between December 1938 and September 1939 arranged for some 10,000 mostly Jewish children being brought to Britain from Nazi Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia.
